    Dear Sir,

    Before I bother you with my question, I checked your FAQs to see if it may already have been answered somewhere. It seems that you have touched on a similar issue here, but it does not answer my question specifically (because I don’t understand code). So I would like to ask the following please:

    Is it possible to somehow add my own color (a background image/photo of my own color I painted) to the color scheme (global) background (under Theme Options – or via any other place)?

    If so, how do I do it (as a beginner who does know how to code at all)?

    Thank you,
    Zuzanne

    Hi,

    I split your question from another topic.

    If you want to set the BG color for the whole website, please go to SEA theme > Theme Options > Colors, select a color for the “Background Color”

    You could set a independent “Background Color” for a Page or Portfolio, please go to Pages> All Pages(Portfolio>All Portfolio) edit a Page or Portfolio, there is the Background option https://www.dropbox.com/s/9rnw1u72jr87rt6/qq20200627-112257.jpg?dl=0

    Hi,

    1.
    If you want to set the BG color for the whole website, please go to Appearance > Theme Options > Schemes, select a color for the “Page/Post Bg Color”.

    2.
    You could set an independent “Background Color” for a Page by the custom CSS (“Appearance > Customize: Additional CSS”:

    .page-id-237 #wrap,
    .page-id-237 #header,
    .page-id-237 #menu-panel,
    .page-id-237.page_from_top.header-scrolled #header,
    .page-id-237.page_from_top.header-scrolling.header-sticky-always #header,
    .page-id-237 #footer  { background-color: #ccc; }

    ps: you could adjust the color value #ccc; the 237 is the unique ID for this page(how to find page id), it means that the css only work for this page self.

    If it doesn’t work, please keep the custom CSS and leave the issued page URL,

    Best

    Hello again and thank you very much for your reply.

    I don’t understand CSS code at all, but I think I can find someone to help me.

    Just to see if I understand correctly: if I give that person who will help me, your instructions above, then they will be able to install that background color image that I mentioned, which I would like to set as an independent background color for a page (in the Air Theme), correct?

    If so, thank you, and we will try it. I will let you know when it works ;o)

    Otherwise, as a beginner, amateur, I have been trying to get this (similar) effect by putting my background color image in the Featured Image on a page, but it doesn’t work well because it doesn’t allow for text blocks over the Featured Image, it seems – if I understand it correctly …

    Best wishes,
    Zuzanne

    Hi,

    Yes.
    The CSS code is for the Background COLOR instead of the image.

    If it doesn’t work, please leave the issued webpage URL(please keep the CSS code ), I will check it.

    NEW QUESTION ABOUT THE COLOUR OF THE SCROLL-UP ARROW IN THE FOOTER

    Dear Sir,

    I wanted to thank you for a beautiful theme. And I have one small question, if possible please? (I checked the FAQ and did not find an answer there).

    As I have made the background of my footer dark, the ‘scroll up’ arrow is not very visible anymore. Is there a simple (I do not understand coding) way I can change the arrow to a light colour so that it is visible against a dark background?

    Thank you very much and I wish you a wonderful day ;o)

    Hi,
    Please paste the custom CSS code to “Appearance > Customize: Additional CSS”:

    #back-top.backtop-shown {
        color: #ccc;
    }

    Hello, I am sorry for using this ‘reply’ area to add a new query, but I cannot find anything like a ‘Submit New Query’ button anywhere in my SeaTheme.net account ;o)

    My new question is: my footer is no longer visible (even when all my information is in the Footer Elements section, and footer is activated), i.e. the footer does not show at all when I scroll to the bottom of the website (on any page). I realised this only about two weeks ago, and I don’t know how long before that, the footer became invisible. I know that I did not work directly with the footer for the past two months before that, so I do not understand what happened. (The only possible related activity I did back then was duplicate a page via Duplicate Page plugin, after which I had problems with three of my five social media icons in the header becoming non-visible (they were there when one hovers over, but were not visible).

    Yesterday, I tried to restore an older version of my WordPress via my domain server company, but they have backups only for one month, and the footer was not in the oldest restored version from last month. So, whatever happened, it must have happened more than a month ago.

    Today I have tried to reinstall my footer information according to your manual again (element 1 = privacy policy via widget from Menu-Privacy Policy; element 2= my copyright info), and reactivate it, but the footer (and the Scroll Up arrow) is still not showing when I scroll down the page.
    As I do not understand IT stuff very much, I would like to ask if you can maybe help me?

    Thank you for any advice. And I thank you for the beautiful Sea Theme.

    Best wishes,
    Zuzana
    PS: if you need to check my web yourself, I can set up an administrator’s password for you. Let me know if you need one, and where I should send it privately ;o).

    Hi,

    It should be caused by the new version WordPress update, please update the theme and builder plugin to fix it. Refer to https://seatheme.net/forums/topic/wordpress-5-6-update-issue/

    Please leave your website URL if it doesn’t work still.

    Regards

    Hello and thank you very much for the help – it worked!!! Yay! Much appreciated, thank you again.

    I don’t know if it is important, but there were just two small differences between my version and what showed in your instructive video for this solution:

    a) The Sea graphic in your video vs my newly installed Sea theme: when I installed the latest Sea theme now, it still showed the ‘Air’ graphic/logo, not the Sea one. I don’t know if that is okay? Because your solution worked, so it should be okay?
    b) I don’t have the BM Construct plugin like you have at the end of your video. I don’t know why (maybe I had it deleted at the beginning, because it was confusing me, or unnecessary for my needs, I don’t remember, but the web’s been working great without it since then). Do you think I should reinstall it (I tried, but it is not in the plugin directory)?

    But, if these two matters above are okay, then everything has been resolved, and I thank you very much for your help.
    (Oh, maybe one question for the future, if ever I need to post another query: where is the “Submit New Query’ button in my account on this site?)

    Best wishes to you and your team,
    Zuzana

    Hi,

    Because I don’t know what’s your theme. There are different guides for the Air, SEA, and other themes in the URL https://seatheme.net/forums/topic/wordpress-5-6-update-issue/

    The builder plugins are different for the 2 themes:
    Air: BM Pagebuilder
    Sea: BM content builder

    How to submit the new query:
    – visit https://seatheme.net/forums/forum/air-wordpress-theme/
    – scroll to the bottom of the page

    Regards
